Republic F-84F Thunderstreak
thingiverse
Initially developed as a low-cost evolution of the straight-winged Thunderjet, the F-84 was designed to maintain its name while ultimately becoming a completely new aircraft. With swept wings, the performance gain compared to the Thunderjet was only marginally satisfactory, yet production began in 1950 and was delayed until introduction into service in 1954 due to ongoing problems. Retired from USAF active service in 1964, the F-84 remained with the ANG until its eventual retirement in 1972. It has been used by most NATO countries as well as Taiwan's RCAF. The F-84F was equipped with six M3 cal.12.7 guns and could carry up to 2700 kg of rockets and conventional bombs or a single Mark 7 nuclear bomb. Scale models of the F-84 are available at 1:100, but were printed at a scale of 1:285 using a nozzle of 0.4mm and layers of 0.12mm. In the image from Cura display, I've shown the position I tried. On September 16th, 2019, errors were found; corrections were made.
