Moving the motor back by 12 mm allows it to run more quietly in cleaner air and could potentially accommodate a larger propeller. It's worth noting that the optional mount sold by Banggood stands at 11 mm tall. To achieve optimal results, this design focuses on minimizing weight while maximizing strength. I highly recommend using PETG with a high temperature setting of 245 C for maximum strength and layer adhesion. There are two variations of this design: one features chamfered holes for countersink head bolts that attach directly to the motor, while the other model has flat holes.
