I was forced to give my S800 a nose job after a 126mph crash that left its original beak badly damaged. This new nose section has been carefully designed around an Eachine 1000TVL FPV camera, which I happened to have lying idle and unused in my collection. To accommodate this specific piece of equipment, the entire design had to be reworked from scratch. The new nose is made up of two distinct parts that snap together using a single M3 machine screw for added security. The S800 frame needs to be carefully cut along its innermost forward-facing sidewalls and flat along the bottom in order to make room for this sleek new addition. Once installed, the bottom section is glued firmly into place, while the lid remains removable for easy access. A hole has been drilled into the bottom right corner (as viewed from the front) of the lower section to allow for cable management. The FPV camera fits snugly onto its mount, but I'll be using a generous amount of hot glue to ensure it stays securely in place once everything is finalised.
