A Custom Detachable Motor Mount for the S800 Reptile Racing Wing. The Original Plans for the S800 Included Glueing Motor Mounting Bolts Underneath the Mounting Plate, But I Wanted the Flexibility to Easily Swap Out Motors If Needed, So I Designed a Detachable Bracket. I Used M3 Cap Screws and Nuts to Attach the Mount to the Mounting Plate, Which Can Be a Bit Tricky to Visualize from the Pictures, But I Had to Apply Epoxy to Secure the M3 Nuts Underneath the Carbon Fiber Plate They Screw Into. This Detachable Motor Mount Was Designed in OpenSCAD, Making It Easy for Anyone to Download and Edit the Source Code If Desired.
