Reptile Harrier s1100 motor mount 16x16
thingiverse
I'm planning to install a custom motor mount for my Reptile Harrier s1100, but I want it to be removable. This new design is perfect for the 16x16 motor holes that most modern motors now use instead of the older 16x19 setup. To make this work, you'll need some standoffs and glue. I've used aluminum ones in the past, but plastic should also do the job just fine. Here's how to assemble it: Print out the custom mount, mark three holes on the s1100, use a soldering iron at its lowest temperature setting, carefully drill the holes, cover the part with masking tape, screw the standoffs onto the part, test fit everything together, and finally, use superglue to secure the motor in place. I've tried E6000 before, but it didn't work out for me, so I wouldn't recommend it. If you have any questions or need further clarification, please don't hesitate to ask. Once you're done, be sure to mark your project as complete and add some pictures of your finished product.
