3D Printed Ducts for Reptile Cloud-149
Modeled after the original design, the new ducts feature a similar structure but made entirely of plastic. Unlike the originals which incorporate brass inserts, these ducts can be screwed directly into the plastic without any issues. A bit of work is required to prepare the screw holes for installation, but once secured, the screws can be tightened firmly. Weighing significantly more than their predecessors (26 grams each compared to 10 grams), these ducts exude a sense of strength and durability. Update: December 25, 2019 - Added LITE Version with Thinner Wall For optimal printing results, use a wall thickness of 1.6 mm and a 0% infill setting. This combination enables efficient printing and fast completion times. However, some users may experience difficulties with screw holes due to long travel distances and retraction issues when combing mode is enabled. To avoid this problem, it's recommended to disable combing mode during the print process.
