I'm designing adaptors to fit an E3D V6 Lite hotend onto a ReRapPro Mendel printer. To ensure safety, I've added new versions that give more clearance to the hot end heater block, which was in danger of melting the carriage plate. The 1B version drops the hotend down another 5mm due to my X axis rods being very close to the bed. The bottom clamp is attached directly to the carriage plate as it's slightly taller than the top clamp for added spacing. I've modified the carriage mount to move the extruder down another 5mm, providing clearance for bed clips and also added an arm that will press the X carriage endstop. I've created a new version to hold a 20mm piezo disc for Z probe use, utilizing the nozzle mount front 1D and top and bottom piezo clamp pieces. Pictures and test results are pending until I receive my kit from Precision Piezo.
