The unconventional pin in the Reprap Huxley design, which secures the Bowden tube, was not my preferred component to work with, especially during disassembly. As Bowden tubes require frequent maintenance, I found the process of disassembling and reassembling the extruder end of the Bowden tube challenging. After contemplating ways to enhance this aspect of the design, I considered various subpar ideas before realizing that my groove mount extruder on my full-sized Prusa could serve as inspiration. To improve the Huxley's Bowden tube retention, I adopted an approach similar to a special Wades body, utilizing M3 holes and screws to retain the hot end within the Wades body itself (similar to designs like http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:27054). This design effectively borrowed from the original concept while addressing my concerns with the Huxley's Bowden tube retention method.
