For the RepRapGuru Prusa I3 V1 and V2, This attachment mounts to the Y-carriage underneath the heatbed. Mount it in the back left corner, pointing towards the back of the printer, with the curved end facing up (so if it sags, it will ride over the frame below). Secure it with a zip tie. On the flat arm, attach a zip tie anchor block with adhesive backing. Then, use a zip tie to secure the power and thermistor wires coming off the heated bed, relieving strain and preventing them from cracking due to Y-axis movement. Inspired by Thing #1940087, this design was completely redesigned in Fusion 360 from scratch. Updated V4: Narrowed down the width of the piece to avoid striking the Y-Axis motor at the back of its travel. Now has >8 mm clearance. Printer Settings: RepRapGuru I3 v2 Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.2 mm Infill: 30% Notes: ABS or other high-temperature filaments (not PLA).
