A customized printed bearing is available for 1kg filament spools from repraper.com, which fits both 10mm and 16mm shafts. Additionally, a new version for an 8mm shaft has been introduced. If you need a specific shaft size, request it. These bearings reduce friction between the spool and shaft when printed correctly with no more than 0.2mm Z resolution for proper spherical shape. The ball bearings are 5mm in diameter with 0.25mm clearance to the races. To print these bearings, they require support to prevent contact with inner and outer races; use minimal support for easy cleanup. Kisslicer's medium and 80-degree setting is recommended. Post-printing cleanup takes approximately 10-12 minutes per bearing.
