This is a RepRapDiscount Smart LCD Controller mount for any Prusa I3. This design builds on the foundation laid by clefranc's design, which had some flaws that this version addresses. 1. This version supports also ebay cloned "RepRapDiscount Smart LCD Controllers" that use high profile potentiometers (look at photo 13). 2. Can support 2004 LCD panels with shorter cables (30cm instead of 60 cm, look at the photo 14). This design is also compatible with the original design, so you have two ways mounting your 2004 LCD. On the left Z axis or on the front of the Y axis. Notice that the LCD cables are shielded with aluminum tape and then isolated with transparent crystal tape, and I suggest you do the same on your machines. How to proceed: 1. If you have short cables or simply like to mount the LCD at the left Z axis, print 1x "LCD-Motor-Bracket.stl" : by TrustFm inspired by https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:85644/ AND 4x "LCD-Motor-Cylinder.stl" : by TrustFm You also need : 4x M3 20mm screws and 4x M3 nuts else you are done!
