This mount, designed for Prusa-based machines, enables top-mounting of filament spools, specifically compatible with Ultimachine and 3D Printerstuff spools up to 5lbs. It requires printing one set of each file, except two each of the mounting bracket and hub. The assembly image is provided for reference, as right and left sides are mirrored. Installation is tool-free or can be done by loosening "inner-upper" vertex nuts. Optional hardware like M3 x 12 socket head bolts and nuts or 8mm flat washers can be used to prevent friction between the hub and barclamp. Rod lengths of 5/16" or 8mm are needed, either smooth or threaded, with 4" lengths perfect for clearance with a 5lb spool from Ultimachine. Enjoy your print!
