A custom Y-Axis bearing mount for the Reprap Prusa i3 MK2 printer is being shared after the original mounts broke, requiring new ones to be printed. This design is exclusive to this specific 3D printer model and may not work on other printers. Two versions of the mount are provided: an open variant that simply screws onto the bed with bearings snapping into place while still attached to guide rails; a closed variant necessitating disassembly of guide rails for mounting onto bearings. As of July 14, 2019, updated parts were made more robust by adding extra material around screw holes and 1MM reinforcement at edges. Type A pieces are original versions, whereas type B parts feature the newer reinforced design. By September 10, 2019, this part was deemed finalized due to its sturdiness and included in the RepRap Prusa I3 MK2 Parts Kit collection for various replacement parts of the 3D printer.
