Hot end heat sink enclosure and ducts for Ormerod 2 quick-set dual-nozzle setup with dc42's improved differential infrared height sensor board are designed to optimize airflow to the nozzles. A removable shutter allows directed airflow at the nozzles (for PLA) or upward (for ABS), or both at a reduced rate when removed completely. Rotating the heatsink 90 degrees so the fins are vertical and drilling a third hole for bolts is necessary. Widening holes for dc42's sensor board with a 2 mm drill and possibly fan bolts with a 3.5 mm drill will also be required. This design is fully parametrized, allowing changes to dimensions, numbers, offsets, and symmetry of top and bottom vents, ducts, and geometry to create versions for the old-style one-piece nozzle or single-nozzle hot ends. I used OpenSCAD to design this setup and Slic3r to slice it.
