RepRap Guru Cable Chain System
thingiverse
This design is tailored for the RepRapGuru printer, a direct clone of the Prusa i3 v2 or Anet A8. It includes a hot end bracket, x0 bracket, an Uno bracket attached to the Arduino Uno, a custom chain link, and standard chain links that others have already posted. This chain system manages cables from the hot end to the right stepper motor located near the x-home position on the z carriage, collects x home switch and x stepper cables, and routes them through a secondary chain to the Uno. Two chains are used: one for x motion and one for z motion, which share a common node at the x-home position. To mount the Uno bracket, you will need to drill four holes next to the Arduino Uno. Print the Uno bracket, then dry fit it until the right corner touches the edge of the plastic support structure holding the Arduino. This should place the bracket about one inch below the top of the circuit board. Mark the holes and drill them. I used leftover machine screws and washers from the build kit to secure the bracket in place.
