LCD Case Holder Remix for Rostock Mini 3D Printer. The LCD case was taken from Pablo Gil's Project on Thingiverse: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:213852. He suggested an edge mounting for his LCD, but I decided to attach the LCD to the lower part of the sliding rods due to the machine's mechanics. Hardware Required: 4 x 3x10mm self-tapping or machine bolts 4 x 3x20mm hex bolts 4 x 3mm security nuts 4 x 3mm washers Print Settings: Printer: Rostock Mini Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: No Resolution: 0.3mm Infill: 40% Notes: Rotate the model to print it from its side. No supports are required. Post-Printing: Measure the position of the LCD casing from the holder as you wish. The LCD case has no modifications, and the holder can be installed lower or higher if needed. Measure holes' position and drill the back case of the LCD. Attach the holder with bolts. A little acetone can be used to weld the holder to the case. To install the LCD, disassemble the top of the machine, remove the idler holder from the desired axis (I've installed it in the X-axis), carefully remove the carriage and slide the LCD into place. My LCD is installed 85mm from the lower plate of the machine. Ensure the carriage can't touch the holder. Move the machine to the opposite direction of the LCD so the carriage moves to its lower position. Tighten the screws, connect the LCD wiring, and you're done. Reinstall the idler holder, top plate, and re-lubricate the rods. A recalibration of the axis is probably required. Enjoy.
