Based on these projects: Rostock Mini Pro (CZAR) thingiverse, Rostock Mini (bwevans) thingiverse, and Rostock (Johann) thingiverse/github. Used Software: OpenSCAD 2015.10.17, Inkscape 0.91. Improvements in comparison to the Mini Pro: Revised openSCAD-code base. More modular design and more parametric features. Better documentation and cleaner code with no missing dependencies or dead code. Easier modification options. Included bill of material and links for orientation purposes. Included Marlin-config for orientation purposes. Redesign of bottom and top plate in Inkscape SVG format. Increased space under the printer, with only USB and power outlets visible. This design allows for shorter wires to the motors, resulting in better electromagnetic compatibility (EMC). Shock-absorbing standoffs can be printed using soft PLA material. Better cooling for motors and motor-drivers with active cooling capabilities. Improved stability, reduced wiggle, stiffer frame, and enhanced print quality. Enhanced fin-design for all plate-connecting parts. Sturdy design of the hotend-mount. Allow two LM8UU per rod (four per carriage). The fan of the E3D-Hotend fits between the hotend-mount and platform. Hotend is lifted, increasing print-space in z-direction. Included space and cutouts for nuts on multiple locations. Hal-sensor-end-stops with improved repeatability. Better cable-management options. Filament-holder installed on top of the printer. Direct mounting at carriage of open belt-ends using zip-ties (with belt_mount_for_carriage.scad). Groves secure belt-mount. Built-in power-switch next to the heat-bed.
