Reppy - self-replicating 3D printer made in Blender!
thingiverse
Reppy is a self-replicating 3D printer entirely designed and built in Blender by a 16-year-old student. It took me roughly a year to complete the design, but it's still far from perfect. The journey began in November 2018 when I started sketching drawings of what the printer could look like. Next, I moved on to my computer where I decided to use Blender for the task. However, the process of creating and modeling wasn't without its challenges. It took me a year to overcome the biggest hurdles with Blender, my Chinese 3D printer, and slicer. Now, I'm excited to share my biggest project yet with you! You can freely modify the parts to make it even better. IMPORTANT: Don't forget to scale all STL files to 5000%.
