Glass bed (flush fit corner clips) for beveled glass edged 6 x 9 150mm x 230mm Borosilicate Glass Plate Bed CTC / REPLICATOR1 CLONES. The glass bed made a massive difference to the quality of my prints, transforming them with its presence. There are plenty of corners available out there, but I needed a solution that wouldn't catch the nozzles as they move to the home axis or return to the bed. This corner clip is designed to sit flush with the surface of the glass bed, thus preventing nozzle crash, and grips onto the glass plate using the radius of the beveled plate edge - a crucial detail that ensures a secure fit. Typically, what you need are pre-cut borosilicate glass plates that can be easily purchased from any popular online marketplace. The corner clips are slightly narrower than 90 degrees, allowing them to be slightly tensioned by hand onto the glass for better grip. The curvy outer edges not only minimize scrapes and scratches to your hands while working around the bed but also strengthen its structure while under tension. Once printed, the corners are placed directly over the existing bolts on each corner of the bed, requiring no need to undo the nuts. There is sufficient length on the end of the threaded bolt for the corner clips and the extra nut to fit in place. You will need to acquire 4 x M3 nuts.
