Replicator Plus - enclosure
thingiverse
This is an enclosure designed for the Makerbot Replicator +, allowing you to print more complex filaments than PLA and expand your Replicator+ capabilities. Attached, you will find a parametric drawing in STL format that can be easily modified if needed. DESIGN PARTS: * Hinges: made up of multiple parts, but they can also be printed as a single unit without the need for assembly screws. * Latch: a single print mechanism that should be printed at an angle with minimal support. All the components are designed to be removable; they will only hold together with double adhesive tape, ensuring the machine's structure remains intact. EXTRA MATERIAL: * You will need three metric plates with the following dimensions: 1. L: 46cm W: 32cm (with two holes of 12mm each, one at 6cm from the top and one at 6cm from the left/right borders) 2. Two plates with L: 31.5cm W: 32cm (with two holes of 12mm each, one at 6cm from the top and one at 6cm from the right/left borders) Additionally, you will need double adhesive tape that is 0.3 to 0.4 inches thick. This design may require some sanding and adjusting before use. I encourage everyone to remake it and consider adding a top enclosure. Enjoy!
