The Replicator MK8's spring-loaded filament drive features an imported model edited in Sketchup for a custom-sized 5x10x4 bearing. Holes were adjusted to fit perfectly. Currently, the right drive is being printed alongside the constructed left. For adjustments, standard socket allen bolts are used with 4mm x 0.5mm brass tubes for shoulder bolts. To ensure proper force, 40mm x 9mm springs were cut in half and used; the printer's performance indicates satisfactory results.
