Easily create a Kapton tape mask for your HBP using this simple design found on Thingiverse. Despite its simplicity, it proves incredibly helpful. To craft the mask, cut out a piece from available materials; wood is recommended due to ease of tape manipulation. Ensure thickness does not exceed 1/4 or 6mm for seamless positioning. The mask features two indentations marking centerlines for precise Kapton tape application on the frame. After stretching the tape, place it over the connector and use a squeegee to press it towards the front, simplifying the cramped working space within the replicator while keeping the moving tape in place.
