To easily identify the loaded plastic for my MakerBot's two Stepstruders, I sought a quick solution. Taking inspiration from the Replicator SD Card Holder, I designed a clip-on label holder. This holder accepts color labels that can be swapped whenever filament color changes. A variety of pre-designed labels are available for popular colors like white, black, yellow, blue, green, red, silver, tan, orange, magenta, navy, and glow in the dark, as well as a blank label for custom printing in any desired hue.
