Introducing my first design: a strain relief upgrade for the Makerbot Replicator's fragile zip tie wire tethering. Using Autodesk 123D Beta, I created a clip that attaches to the same screw as the previous zip tie. To enhance functionality, I plan to add a channel for wire release at the bottom of the clip. For installation, remove the zip tie and plastic shim, push wires through the clip, and reattach the screw to the carriage. Printed using 0.3mm layer height, 0% infill, and 2 shells for rigidity.
