The MK7 and MK8 StepStruders are compatible with the provided Plunger replacement. To enhance durability, I replaced the Delrin Plunger of my MakerBot Replicator with a sturdier PLA version created from its measurements in AutoCad. This customized plunger has produced over a dozen prints without significant wear and can be easily replaced once worn out by printing another one using the original as a backup.
