Replicator Aluminum Arms + 3-Point Leveling
thingiverse
This is my adaptation of Bottleworks' Aluminum Arms for a Replicator with a unique wide-stance 3-point leveling system that incorporates an alternate heater board (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:43207). Due to specific requirements, this project may not be replicable by many. Consider it more of an 'idea' thing. To begin with, I had to mill out the platform slot in the arms from 5mm to 1/4 inch and open it completely through the arms in the last two inches for a new plywood platform featuring extended wings for easier access to leveling posts at forward corners of the build plate. The alternate heater board provides a rear center hole for the third leveling point. Since I don't have a laser cutter, I used a scroll saw to create nooks and crannies on the new platform plate, but there's no plan available. Essentially, it is a copy of existing plate with added wings and new holes for leveling points. Pictures tell most of the story. You would need a new M3x25 screw for the rear leveling point and rearrange long screws on the build plate to outer corners. Install as per Bottleworks' instructions.
