Replicator 5mm pulley shaft pillow block
thingiverse
Initially, the 5mm pulley shaft lacked support which caused vibration and flexing due to high printing speed of Sailfish. To rectify this issue, I printed accessories for proper belt tensioning and shaft stabilization. The accessories were made using ABS with specific settings, requiring four pieces that need drilling to 3mm or 1/8" mounting holes. Four 5X11X4 bearings press fit into pillowblocks and are secured on either end of the shaft using eight M3X16mm bolts and nuts. My installation position was 49.5mm in from each edge, with 14mm for the first hole and 38.5mm for the second, filed slightly for self-alignment to avoid tension on the shaft.
