A 5mm-thick glass plate rests atop the aluminum plate on my 2X model, resolving height issues. To accommodate various plate thicknesses, I've designed two additional shims: Large (adding 2mm to normal) and XLarge (4mm extra). XLarge should suffice for a 9mm plate. I haven't printed Large yet. For installation, access the printer's back, attach the shim to the build platform as per photos, be cautious of the hidden screw behind cables, which requires a distinct allen key than other screws on the device.
