A small computer fan connected to a 9V adapter and switch eliminates ABS fumes during printing without altering the print environment. I have been using this vent with my Makerbot without any ventilation issues. For hose connection, place the logo STL on the platform, then offset in the Z direction by 6.35mm to align it with the hose adapter STL for dual extrusion. Mount the parts to the Makerbot plastic cover using 1/4-20 x 1" SS bolts and tap the back plate with a 1/4-20 tap, although it may not be necessary.
