This is a counterpart to https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4064197, featuring a duct for a 6048 blower-style cooling fan mounted on the left side of the extruder carriage and pointing down, roughly in line with the heat blocks. It's designed to be agnostic to mounts, so you can use it or adapt it to your specific setup. The design builds upon thing:4064197, which is referenced in the sources. I used a 6028 fan, approximately 60mm diagonal size and 28mm outlet, as I had a 24V 6028 blower fan from an old humidifier on hand. In theory, you can load up the fan model in Solvespace, adjust its size and location, then update the other parts to reflect the changes. The design isn't ideal due to one-sided cooling and only targeting the left nozzle. However, it works for me as I primarily use PLA-PRO in my left extruder and PETG in the right. To mitigate this limitation, I simply rotate models with the cooling fan direction in mind before printing. This duct was created using the same tools as my fan mount and was relatively easy to print. The subdivision of airflow should improve its performance compared to a wide-open duct, making it easier to print while still offering decent cooling.
