Replicator 2 X Axis Keystone Motor Mount
thingiverse
This is a modified version of jtenkely's Keystone Stepper Motor Mount, with the keystone rotated and moved, to fit on the back side of the Replicator 2's X Axis Stepper Motor. The screw plate has been cut to fit against the standard MakerBot chassis including the circle cut out for a flush fit. The thin ribbon cables on the Replicator 2 are known to wear out and fail. So I'm creating this to replace the moving section of both, the stepper motor, and end stop ribbon cables. Instead the moving section will now be a Cat6 cable instead, making them stronger, but insanely easy to replace if they ever wear out or get broken. I'll be adding another file later with a corner keystone mount for the other end of the cable once it's ready to go. Printed with Breakaway and Bridge Supports on. Updates: V3 (5/30/23) - The bottom screw hole design changes to closed for added support, and less slipping.
