To address a 1mm printing issue near the back of the build platform, add larger feet above the tripod's rubber pads. Measure the gap between the hook and top surface using callipers, scale the feet accordingly in MakerWare, and print at standard or high resolution. Clean the shiny surface with alcohol if needed before attaching the feet. Flip the platform, reprint the feet if necessary, and relevel it to prevent banging noises and glitched prints.
