Replicator 2 Plate Holder (4 Point Leveling)

Update! You may need Thing:2767970 if your build plate is at least 8mm thick. I wanted a bigger build volume for my CTC Replicator, and I decided to get the Replicator 2 build plate from Makerbot. I chose this option because I've had great experiences with how level and uniform their build surface is. Plus, I print directly on the build plate with a glue stick, and it works every time. This design allows for easy build surface removal, but only for PLA printing since it's a non-heated build plate. I printed it in PLA at 190C, and it's strong enough to hold its shape even after frequent plate removal. It's also springy enough to pull the back tab and remove the plate. You could use a different build plate with this adapter, but it was designed specifically for the Rep 2 build plate. If you have a Replicator 2, this might be a good way to implement a four-point leveling system. I'm using shorter springs than stock on the front two of the leveling system because I believe their plastic arms are slightly warped upwards, so the back and front of the plate need to be leveled at different heights.
