This spool holder is designed to attach directly to the back of a Makerbot Replicator 2 or 2x. The newly engineered spool holder can accommodate smaller rolls of filament, allowing users to easily switch between various brands and types of filament. To install this new spool holder: In Makerware, set your print settings as follows: resolution is set at 300 microns; the raft function is turned off; supports are enabled; the print speed is maintained at 90 mm/s; and the type of plastic used is PLA.
