This work-in-progress fan attachment is designed for dual extrusion Replicator 1 printers, providing enhanced cooling via a 40mm 24v fan similar to stock models. The latest version has resulted in successful PLA prints. Print using .10 layer height, sailfish firmware at 120mm/sec; replace bolts with plastic straps if needed. Update to the newest version for better cooling and split .stl files for print without support material. Apply tape over bolt holes on nozzle for increased pressure, and use a fan with high static pressure. Connect the cooling fan to the mightyboard's extra FET, controllable via gcode or control menus in Makerbot or Sailfish firmware 7.5.
