Replicape Kossel Mini holder
thingiverse
This is a custom-made placeholder for the Replicape and its BeagleBone Black that fits snugly inside the top frame. I recessed the frame slightly from the edges so I could use ChrisParish's spool holder (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:454808) on top of the electronics. The original design was created by Elias Bakken, the creator of the Replicape. However, his design would only be printable from an i3-sized bed (200x200mm), which isn't possible with a standard KosselMini's 17cm diameter bed. This three-part design solves that issue. Three parts instead of one, all held together by the screws holding down the BeagleBone. Print Settings: Printer Brand - RepRap; Printer - KosselMini; Rafts - No; Supports - No; Resolution - 0.2mm; Infill - 40%. Assembly with the BBB & Replicape: First off, ensure your BBB and Replipcape aren't stacked. You won't be able to screw the M3s in place to hold the BBB into the frame. Take part three (the back part) and place it under the matching screw hole of parts one & two. Place the BBB on top and take an M3x12mm (or longer) screw for each of the back screw holes. Note that the BBB's holes aren't aligned in a symmetrical rectangular pattern, so don't damage the BBB with slanted screws! Use M3 Nylock nuts to secure the BBB and holder assembly together from the underside. I recommend doing one, then a second on one side before inserting all screws. Once your whole frame and BBB are secured together, you can fit the Replicape to the BBB.
