Replica of the vintage Soviet WC / toilet / bathroom sign
thingiverse
I've had this little guy nailed to the toilet door for over four decades. The original sign is on the left, made of black plastic, while a simplified replica sits on the right. He's still directing people to the toilet, and many have wanted to take him away from me. So I created a simple 2D replica of this vintage Soviet WC bathroom sign, freeing his little brothers to live all over the world. Dimensions: Height: 10cm Width: approximately 5cm Thickness: 2mm Print Settings: Printer Brand: Zortrax Printer: Zortrax M200 Rafts: Yes Supports: No Notes: Occasionally, strange lines appeared on the surface, but they disappeared after I rotated the model 45 degrees clockwise in-plane. How I Designed This: I took a perpendicular picture of the model. Then, I uploaded it to an online tracing service that returned an SVG file. Next, I loaded that file into FreeCAD, cleaned and extruded it.
