This is a compiled list of parts to make a replica AR-15 for display purposes. The buffer tube is intentionally closed so that it cannot be used to shoot any cartridges that require a buffer/buffer spring. The lower receiver is compatible with mil spec lower parts kits. The upper receiver will hold cmmg barrels and bolt carrier groups if you wanted to complete the replica. If you choose to install the cmmg 22 kit into this replica just know that it could violate local laws. Knowing local laws is your responsibility, not mine. If you complete this build and try to shoot live ammunition with it you do so at your own risk, this item is listed as a replica and should be treated as such. DO NOT use the barrels for firing live ammunition. DO NOT use the frames, magazines, or other parts for firing live ammunition without looking up the readme information that comes with the original files. Find the original files in the LBRY INC app or Odysee website @TheGatalog-PrintableFramesReceivers @TheGatalog-Accessories @TheGatalog-PrintableMagazines 7/14/21 - I changed the inside dimensions of the stock to make for a tighter fit. to make the lever and stock functional you will need a sae 8-32 x 1.625 socket head cap screw or a metric M4 x 40 socket head cap screw and a sae 0.25 x 2 spring ( a metric 6.5 x 50 spring might work but has not been tested) 7/15/21 - i realized that some of the hole dimensions were off just a little bit when i went to assemble my lower. the main issue was the magazine catch area. i believe i have all of the holes fixed now and I added a couple more variations of the lower. 7/16/21 - I added a handful of lower receivers to the mix. these designs are not mine. some of these designs are meant to be held together with bolts instead of the standard takedown pins and they will not have a hole for the spring. you can alter these in tinkercad very easily if you want. these files and more are available from The Gatalog, LBRY INC app, deterrence dispensed, and defcad. all are compatible with milspec lower parts kit, cmmg bolt, and cmmg barrel. I intend to make a 3d printable barrel and bolt in the near future that will be for display purposes only (mainly for you cosplay individuals) 7/22/21 - I added some barrel sections so that you can make a variety of different sized barrels. the internal threads are M12-1.75 and the external threads are M17-1. I will work on making some muzzle devices for the barrel ends. 8/20/21 - as requested, i made a magazine catch and magazine release. one model of the catch is completely printed, the other model is intended to be used with a 4mm bolt (i believe it will need to be 25mm in length). the same spring used in the stock should work for this, but it is not nearly as stiff as the actual mag catch spring. if you can source some cheap springs that work better please let me know what you find and i will and an update for other users
