Replacement Single Print Parts for Z Mounts on Either Side of Anet A8 Printer Designed to be Printed as Pictured Without Supports, Test Printed and Fitted as Shown. Two Versions Available: One with Slotted Holes for Stepper Mount and Another without. Simply Mirror the Right Hand Side Part in Your Chosen Slicing Software if You Don't Want a Version with Z Stop Mounting Position. Note that Z Stop Mount Requires a Printed Z Stop Adjustment Part, Mounted to X Motor Mount. An Example of Such Design Can be Found on Thingiverse. Print Settings: Printer: Anet A8 Resolution: 0.2mm Infill: 40% Notes: Settings Above Were Used to Print the Item as Shown in Pictures Above. I Recommend Drilling Z-Stop Mount Positions to ~1.4mm Prior to Fitting Endstop. Some Support Could be Used to Hold Top Edges of Largest Hole if Desired. If Someone Can Provide Good Dimensions for A6 Version, I Can Create a Version Suitable for That Printer. Design: This Design Was Mainly Created Through Visual Measurement of Surface Details and Translation into an OpenSCAD File. Z-Stop Position is Designed to Replace Separate Part Attached to Z Carriage in Several Z-Stop Modifications. The Slotted Version Allows for Stepper Position Adjustment Left/Right Rather than Forward/Back. Minor Tweak to Positioning of Sides for Better Fit. 03/04/2017 - Follow-up on First Test Print: Repositioned Side Walls, Adjusted Z-Stop by 1mm, Reduced Size of Top by 0.4mm, Enlarged Screwholes in Top and Nut Space Widths, Removed Unnecessary Support from Hole Cover, Reduced Width of Top Interfacing Parts by 0.4mm, Moved Square Cutouts Downward to Even Out Distance Either Side.
