Replacement Yard Stake for Decorative Candy Canes
thingiverse
I'm sharing this on the off chance that it might be of some help to someone else. This is a replacement stake design for some 28" decorative candy canes we got from Wal-Mart a couple of Christmases ago, as seen in the photo where the original stake is black and the printed replacement is gray. The stakes that came with the set were so cheap that most of them broke right away when trying to push them into our hard soil. There's no place to buy replacement stakes for these, and I didn't want to buy another set of candy canes (only to have their stakes break as well.) The part of the stake that inserts into the candy cane shaft has an external diameter of about 11/16", is approximately 1 1/2" long, and is slotted to let the cord through. The tapered end of the stake is roughly 5 1/2" long. I designed it in Tinkercad, so it's not easy to modify the design, but I'm happy to share it if anyone needs a similar stake and wants to use this as a starting point.
