Replacement Watch Straps

thingiverse

I was inspired to create this set of watch straps after I noticed that the old leather straps on a watch we've had were wearing out, with one literally hanging by a thread. These new straps were then designed based on the dimensions of those straps in particular. There are 11 extra millimeters on the square ends of each strap meant to fold underneath the watch head's loop and be held on with Krazy Glue or other superglue. **Please note that the loop found in the .zip folder is supposed to slide onto the square side of the "top" strap before folding and gluing. Even if you forget this step, the flexibility of the TPU filament should allow you to slip it over the spherical notch anyway. The strap shown is 1mm thick (the files labeled "watchstrap2.0"), but if you find that 2mm thick straps are more suitable, they can also be found in the .zip file. For the 1mm thick version: The "top" strap measures 17.00mm x 85.00mm x 4.04mm, the "bottom" strap measures 17.00mm x 122.00mm x 1.00mm, and the "loop" measures 21.40mm x 4.00mm x 4.20mm. For the 2mm thick version: The "top" strap measures 17.00mm x 85.00mm x 6.24mm, the "bottom" strap measures 17.00mm x 122.00mm x 2.00mm, and the "loop" measures 21.40mm x 4.00mm x 8.40mm.
