Replacement Violin Bridge
myminifactory
I designed a violin bridge that's easy to build and provides comparable acoustics, replacing the hassle of traditional bridges once they break. It uses minimal filament while being incredibly resonant. I printed it in PETG because it's strong and flexible enough to adapt to the violin's movements. Most filaments will work, but I'm experimenting with carbon fiber nylon soon. As a cellist, I tested this bridge on my sister's violin and it performed exceptionally well, delivering great sound quality. This design should fit most acoustic violins like standard bridges do, but I recommend using it as a backup since I haven't extensively tested it and certain filaments may degrade with temperature changes.
