Replacement Tile Enclosure
thingiverse
This enclosure replaces the standard tile enclosure, designed specifically to swap out the battery on the original tile Bluetooth tracker. The new enclosure doesn't accommodate the piezo speaker stuck to the Tile. I've made this enclosure slightly larger (taller) to fit different CR2032 battery holders that are available. The Fusion 360 file is ready for modifications if needed. Printed at 0.2mm with three shells in PLA material. To secure the circuit, I use glue dots - same adhesive used on credit cards - making it easy to remove them later. A thin bead of superglue in the recess on top seals the case shut. UPDATE: Added Tile large for use with the larger CR2450 battery and hopefully a standard piezo buzzer (more details will follow.)
