replacement tier for mailbu low voltage 2 tier plastic lights
thingiverse
I grew tired of my dull outdoor lighting, so I came up with something new - a splash of color. Working on the top tier as well, I created this design for the 2-tier Malibu plastic lights (yes, they were affordable). Made from PETG, translucent blue was the chosen material, and I achieved an infill of around 29% without using any support or rafts. Printed upside down, it was designed in Tinkercad. Don't be too harsh on me - this was my first real design, but it fits perfectly, and I'll also upload a plain version. Using Windows 10's 3D Builder, I embossed the design with black and white clip art that I inverted to only show the white areas. Planning more designs for Xmas and Halloween too, I had fun making them, and my next ones will be longer to cover more of the light's white surface. The top tier is also on my to-do list. Printer: Geeetech Prusa 3X Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.2mm Infill: 29% Notes: Flipped it over to print and it seemed to work well that way, achieving a best honeycomb infill for the lights.
