Replacement Sunglass Frames
thingiverse
I play volleyball every season and smash my glasses at least once, which is why I opt for cheap ones, but this year it happened early on, so I decided to craft my own replacement since the lenses were still in perfect condition. The frame, made of green plastic, was inspired by a pair of Foster Grant "Slam Dunk" Polarized sunglasses and utilizes their lenses. The frame's name was stamped onto one temple of the original frames. I designed these custom frames from scratch, refining the design several times to get the lenses to snap into place securely. I reused the original temples made of black plastic and the hinge screws.
