Replacement spring for Duratech pliers
thingiverse
These budget pliers are really impressive, particularly when it comes to removing support material. Yet, the spring usually doesn't last longer than a few months of consistent use. After breaking a spring one week beyond the warranty period, I created my own design. This should be printed in polycarbonate, but ABS might also work. I've also included a version with significantly larger radii for use with fragile plastics. That version won't spring as well as the polycarbonate (which feels just like the original stainless steel spring).
