Replacement slit plate for school light box.
thingiverse
This model was created for the school science department, destined for use within "light boxes" designed specifically for optics experiments. Apparently, original designs can easily become misplaced or damaged over time. It measures 2 3/16 inches square by 1/16 inch thick. Print Settings Rafts: Leave them out - it's not crucial. Supports: No supports are required either. Notes: Please print this model in black. If your 3D printer doesn't have a heated bed, I suggest using a brim as it tends to curl up easily. In contrast, if you do have access to a heated bed, feel free to forgo both the raft and brim features since they'll be quite hard to remove from the delicate slits. A shell thickness of around 0.8 millimeters will yield satisfactory results. As for infill settings, they're largely inconsequential as only one or two layers actually utilize them. How I Designed This I created this model using AutoDesk Inventor.
