The SD-card case on my laptop broke off, splitting top and bottom apart. The tiny bridges connecting electrical contacts buckled under the pressure and snapped right off. I kept using the SD-card anyway, but eventually it almost got stuck inside my laptop when its small electronic board started to come loose. So I decided to create a replacement case using 3D printing. The new case is incredibly simple – it has only one side – and the electronics board just clips right into place in a designated slot.
