Replacement Refrigerator Shelf Bracket (Kenmore)
thingiverse
This is the part that made my wife enthusiastic about 3D printing. Print two of these, one of them mirrored (I did this in my slicer). These provide a snug fit onto the metal strip on one of my refrigerator door shelves. Before replacing the original parts (which were slightly damaged) with these, the contents of the shelf would frequently crash onto the floor. Our refrigerator is a Kenmore, but I'm not sure of the model. Two files are included: the STL as well as the SketchUp design file. The SketchUp file may need to be adjusted for your particular repair job. I'd recommend using ABS or another suitably tough material. The parts I printed were a bit tight and required some sanding and filing. Print Settings Printer Brand: SeeMeCNC Printer: Rostock MAX Rafts: Yes Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.2mm Infill: 20% - 50% Notes: Printed with the sloped face toward the bed, as modeled in SketchUp. This sloped face was not laid flat on the bed. Instead, the sloped face was held up with a raft and support. The face opposite the sloped face was horizontal and parallel to the bed. I chose to orient the part this way to make the small tabs as strong as possible, since these were the parts that broke on the original parts. The material used was natural ABS.
