I designed a replacement rain gauge mount after the original one disintegrated from prolonged exposure to sunlight. Using nGen plastic, I created it with the intention of putting its durability to the test by placing it directly in direct sunlight. This straightforward design came together quickly, taking only about an hour to complete.
